How To Wear Wool In The Spring

Today’s post is how to wear wool in the spring.

Here in the UK the weather changes so frequently, a couple of days ago I was walking around in a summer dress then it’s been a little cooler since. The outfit today features a merino wool dress that I was wearing over the winter so you may remember it if you have been following the blog for some time.

The beauty of merino wool is that it keeps you very warm in the winter but also has cooling properties if you get a little too warm so suitable in the warmer weather too. A dress like this is a perfect all year round item to have in your wardrobe. It’s very light and comfortable to wear and not bulky at all. It kept me feeling the perfect temperature on this cooler spring day. I layered a linen biker jacker over the dress so another thin layer that gave a nice layered look.

I have accessorised this outfit with some costume jewellery and my footwear of choice are my black lace up sandals. This is a great look for everyday. I was wearing it last weekend to go around the shops and run a few errands.

I hope you like my how to wear wool in the spring outfit post. Let me know your thoughts in the comments section below.
