Today I’m sharing my top 5 favourite lipsticks. These are all great for the spring season ahead.
Lipsticks and mascaras are my favourite makeup items and I just could not do without. In most of my outfit posts I wear red lipstick as I like the way it looks on the photos. I have also been know to sport a bright pink and orange lip in the past too. I do also wear some more subtle colours day to day and today I’m sharing my 5 favourite lipsticks that are in my makeup bag at the moment.
Lets start with my most worn on the blog – Red Lipstick. My favourite one at the moment is YSL Rouge Pour Couture in shade 01 – Le Rouge. This is a true red lipstick that feels soft and hydrating on the lips and has great staying power. I wear this on most of my outfit posts and if I’m going out anywhere.
I love this Burts Bees Lip Crayon as it contains all natural ingredients and feels really nice on the lips. This shade is Napa Vineyard which is more of a winter colour but they have many different colours available and I have been thinking of getting one of the lighter shades for spring.
Next is the Clinique Pop Lip Colour And Primer. To be honest, I have never used a lip primer so I couldn’t really tell if the primer part was any good but I do really love the muted pinky plum colour of the lipstick and I think it’s a great everyday colour. I wear this a lot day to day at the moment.
When I’m looking for a pop of pink I always reach for this Laqa & Co Cheeky Lip in Humble Brag. It’s a lovely matte crayon that has great pigmentation. I think you can also use this on your cheeks but I have never tried to use it that way. I just think it’s a really nice bright girly pink.
My favourite liquid lipstick at the moment is Gerard Cosmetics Hydra Matte Lipstick in the shade Serenity. It’s a beautiful soft light pink that’s great all year round. I have been wearing this in a few of my blog posts recently and I wear it quite a lot day to day too. Please note it seems a lot softer colour on the lips than in the below swatches.
