Today’s looks are October break at the beach outfit ideas.
I have recently spent a few days by the sea with my family and wanted to share with you a couple of cozy outfit ideas for the beach at this time of year.
October Break at the Beach Outfit Ideas
When visiting the UK coast in the autumn and winter, I pretty much always take a combination of jeans, jumpers and blanket scarves. I find this type of outfit easy to wear by the coast as you can layer up a little more if it’s really cold and windy or take off some layers if the sun decides to shine.
Look 1 – Grey Oversized Jumper and Jeans
This cotton light grey oversized jumper is really nice and lightweight to wear so is perfect for layering over a tee like I did here in this look. I paired it with my Boden girlfriend jeans, Converse and black tote bag which is a great size for a day out at the beach. I recently picked it up from F&F and think it’s a great buy for the price.
I really like the simplicity of this look which is comfortable and perfect for walking along the coast. The jumper is really nice and lightweight to wear on warmer autumn days.

Look 2 Blanket Scarf, Jumper and Jeans
In this look, I paired a Joules navy jumper with some blue jeans and added a blanket scarf for extra coziness. When choosing footwear for a trip to the beach, I always take a pair of Converse as I find them the easiest option for walking on pebbled beaches. If I’m going to a sandy beach, I would usually take some wellies too.
I would also usually recommend to pack a raincoat in case it rains, which is very likely in the UK. Luckily on this trip it was only windy and we did get some sunshine too which was nice. When shopping for a new raincoat, I always find that Joules have a great selection of raincoats all year round and are great options for a trip to the seaside.
