Today’s look is my satin skirt outfit.
Satin skirts are having their moment right now and I picked up this ruffled satin midi skirt in Zara recently and wanted to share with you how I have been wearing it. I had a similar skirt to this a while ago which I used to wear only for going out in the evening. I never thought I would ever wear a skirt like this in the day but I really like the end result.
How I wore the satin skirt outfit
I love mixing textures at this time of year and so I paired the skirt with a fine knit sweater, some tights and ankle boots. What I absolutely love about the skirt is the mid-pink colour which really pairs nicely with the rest of the outfit which is all black.
To add a little bit of edge to the very feminine feel of this outfit, I chose the frayed sweater from Zara. The sleeves and bottom edges of the sweater have been frayed and distressed which gives an interesting look to the sweater. I hope it washes well as I haven’t attempted to clean it yet. To finish off the look, I am carrying my black Chanel grand shopping tote.
