Today’s look is a recap on a dress that I have featured a couple of times on the blog before – the classic striped dress.
A classic striped dress is a great item to have in your wardrobe and will always get you out of an outfit crisis as it can be worn in so many ways.
I was inspired to show this one again as I was browsing the Joules sale last night and saw that it had been reduced in the sale. I purchased mine quite some time ago and have had so much wear out of it on and off the blog. I think it would be a great item to buy now and carry through to the autumn.
Below are some examples of how I have styled the dress in the past. The reoccurring theme seems to be a pop of red. In the first look, you will see a red lip and the second a red bag! This is a popular way to bring a navy striped outfit to life. I also love to wear black ankle boots and tights most of the year round and can’t wait for the weather to be cool again so I can start wearing them again.
