Today I’m styling a vintage sheepskin jacket with a dress for an everyday boho inspired look.
Happy new week! I hope you had a wonderful weekend and are feeling ready to take on the new week. As we have already entered 2025, I’m thrilled to share my first outfit post of the year with you and would like to wish you a Happy New Year! I’m starting off with a look I’ve been absolutely loving lately, one that combines both comfort and style in a way that’s perfect for the colder months.
Styling a vintage sheepskin jacket with a dress
This vintage sheepskin jacket has been tucked away in my wardrobe for quite some time now, and I have to admit, it’s one of those pieces I hadn’t given enough attention to until recently. For the longest time, I saw it as a super practical, functional coat for the coldest of days, mainly because it’s incredibly warm and cosy. But I hadn’t really thought of styling it in a more fashionable way until recently.
With boho style being a huge trend for 2025, I wanted to step outside of my usual styling comfort zone and experiment with a look that felt both cosy and on trend. I paired the sheepskin jacket with one of my favorite floral dresses, and I love how the combination turned out. The contrast of the rugged, textured jacket with the soft, feminine and floaty floral print dress creates a beautiful balance, and it’s a new way to layer for colder weather.
The sheepskin jacket not only provides warmth but also adds a bit of vintage charm to the outfit, which is what I love most about it. I’ve always been drawn to pieces that have a story, and this jacket certainly does. The floral dress adds a playful, romantic touch, and together, they create a look that feels both effortless and on trend.
To finish off the outfit, I opted for my Chloe ankle boots. They add just the right amount of edge and complement the overall boho vibe. I also included my favorite Dragon Diffusion bag, which brings in a touch of artisan feeling and texture, tying the entire look together beautifully.
I’m so happy with how this outfit turned out, and I’m excited to wear it more in the coming months whilst it’s still cold. It’s the perfect way to make the most of your favorite dresses even when it’s freezing outside, and it’s a great way of how you can experiment with mixing different textures and styles to create your own unique look.
