Easy Blue Spring 2018 Outfit

Today’s look is an easy blue spring 2018 outfit.

Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend. Mine was quite busy preparing for an upcoming trip with my family as it’s half term already! Time seems to be passing quite quickly so far this year.

The colour blue is trending for SS18 and today’s outfit is a very easy to wear everyday outfit that includes different shades of blue and grey. Blue is one of my favourite colours so whether it’s a deep navy or a lighter blue, it’s a colour that I always wear.

Easy Blue Spring 2018 Outfit

In spring, it’s nice to wear layers as the weather can change at the drop of a hat especially here in the UK. So I layered a blue jumper over a black long sleeved tee.

I love the contrast between the colours blue and grey so I selected some grey skinny jeans to wear with the blue jumper. To finish off the look and really give it a spring feel I added my new Zara embroidered mules and my floral embellished bagicon. You may remember the bag from some previous outfits. I love the addition of the decorative floral strapicon which can also be changed for a longer cross body strap for when you want to free up your hands.

Some helpful tips for spring 2018

  • Combine light layers
  • Use stand out accessories to dress up your basics
  • Add a floral print or some embroidery to give a spring feel
  • Combine different shades from the same colour palette to create a multi tonal look

I hope you like the look and let me know your thoughts on the easy blue spring 2018 outfit in the comments section below. Are you going to be embracing the blue trend for the spring season?
