Today I’m sharing with you some January Style Inspiration – The Poncho Outfit.
As you may have seen if you regularly read the blog, I have been wearing this style of casual clothing over the last few weeks and I think this outfit is a great representation of what I would like to be wearing this month and into the spring as the weather starts to ease off.
Mixing basics and statement pieces is what I like to do at the moment. Using items in many different ways to create different looks. The light layering is perfect too for when the weather starts to change and we head towards Spring 2016.
I found the floral jacquard poncho when browsing online. I now currently have on my wishlist and it inspired me to create an outfit around it.
The whole outfit is available from Esprit and it’s current season. I love the colours and jacquard floral design of the poncho and I can imagine it would be easy to wear for many different looks, which is what I try to show you on the blog on a regular basis rather than just featuring an item once and style it only in one way. I can also imagine it would look amazing with an orange lipstick.
The rest of the outfit is possibly basic items that you already have in your wardrobe and I hope this can inspire you to wear them throughout January. Jeans, basic tops, knitwear and ankle boots are all key essentials to have.
