Vertical Striped Midi Dress

Today’s look is a vertical striped midi dress.

Happy Friday! Vertical striped clothing is a popular choice this year as it has been a key trend. I really like the look of vertical stripes and feel that they are really flattering to wear as they draw the eye down the body therefore creating an elongated silhouette.

The Vertical Striped Midi Dress

I loved the tie detail on this striped midi dressย from Zara as it gave the dress some interest and made it look like a wrap dress which is another one of my favourite dress styles.

I think this dress would be a great one for the office styled with tights and boots like I have here, or you could wear it with some trainers for a more casual off duty look or heels for an evening out.

This is a lovely dress to wear although it gets creased really easily as you may be able to see from the pictures below. I love how loose and flowy it is and think it would also work in the spring and summer.

The colours in this dress are navy, green and white. I never thought to pair the colours navy and green together beforeย but I really like the combination.

I hope you like the look and let me know your thoughts on vertical striped trend in the comments section below. Have you paired navy blue and green together before? Have a lovely weekend.
