Today I’m wearing my Cath Kidston Swans Shirt Dress and I thought I would embrace the swan theme and show you another favourite spot of mine the lake.
I regularly walk around this lake as it is very close to where I live. I love the tranquil setting and love to walk close to water. It’s so pretty at this time of year and I thought it would be the perfect setting for todays outfit post.
The print on the dress is swans, flowers and little pink and yellow ducks. I absolutely love swans. They are such elegant and beautiful birds. There are two swans at this lake most of the year so I love to go and see them swimming around with the ducks. I have to be careful when walking my little dog Honey around here, as she loves to bark at the swans which is never a good idea, so I have left her behind today.
I was drawn to this dress firstly because of the unique print and secondly because I love the vintage style of shirt dresses. The 1970s style is still strong this season and the Swans Shirt Dress has a 70s vibe to it. It is made of really soft jersey and I can see it’s going to be so easy to wear this over the autumn. I have already planned how to wear it again to create a different look!
I hope you enjoy looking at the pictures in this post. Full outfit details and link at the bottom of the post as usual. Have a lovely day. Gemma xx
