Today I am going to work at my office and I’m wearing a black and white monochrome outfit. Black and white is a classic colour combination in fashion, and a match made in heaven for a stand out print.
Wear black and white together and watch your outfit pop. It visually creates interest to an outfit when a black and white print is used, as the contrast is like night and day and very striking.
The outfit that I am wearing I have had for a while, and reach for every now and then when I want to create a classic smart look.
The skirt is a past season Zara skirt and it has a brush strokes print in black and white. This skirt created quite a stir when it was in stores a couple of years ago as the brush stroked print was so similar to the artsy prints seen on the Celine runway.
I am wearing the monochrome skirt with a black long sleeved top, black drapey jacket, black tights, black and white heels by Bally of Switzerland and my Joules Tara Pearl Necklace. As mentioned most of the items are from past seasons but it hopefully will give you some inspiration to put together your own black and white monochrome look.
