I hope you had a lovely weekend. Today’s look is combining two of the current season trends, boots with statement heels and pearl embellishments. This look would be a great smarter daytime outfit, possibly for the office too.
The Mica ankle boots are the second pair of ankle boots that I was sent from Lotus Shoes. You may recognise the brand from my colour block ankle boots post last week. If you missed this post you can read it here. I really love these statement heel ankle boots as a smarter pair of boots. You could easily wear these in a more formal setting or as an everyday pair of boots to dress up jeans and a jumper. The flashes of gold on the heel and patent toe cap detail really make them stand out.
How I’m wearing the statement heel ankle boots
I was wearing the boots with a pair of cropped pinstripe trousers and a jumper with pearl embellishments on the sleeves. Pearl embellishments are a huge trend this season and I like how this jumper is mostly without the embellishments with just a splattering on the sleeves.
