ZARA printed kimono

A short review and outfit inspiration for the ZARA printed kimono

I recently purchased this Kimono in the ZARA sale priced at just £19.99 reduced from £29.99. Kimonos have been a major trend for a few years now and I find them a very easy thing to wear in all weathers. The 1970s trend is still running strong and this kimono has a very strong vintage vibe in a modern way. The print is stunning it has a Japanese style floral print which also gives off that 1970s feel.

Today I plan to wear it with a pair of flowing pleated bermuda shorts from ZARA, a plain vest top, sunglasses and the recent purchase ZARA leather roman flat sandals.

The sunglasses have been one of the best investments I have ever made and I wear them a lot. They are by Chanel and are on the 3rd summer now so definitely getting my moneys worth from them!

The kimono really is lovely for the price and has lots of detailing. The fringing I absolutely love as its just not running on the sleeves but along the back for some extra interest. It also has  a small tie at the front which I love and can come in really useful when juggling handbag, shopping, kids etc as sometimes the kimono style tops being loose fitting can start sloping off the shoulder so the tie keeps it neatly in place. I plan to wear this Kimono in the future colder months with some Boden Boyfriend Jeans which are the most flattering style of jeans that I have found for a long time, for a more autumn like look, or really embrace the 1970s disco trend and pair with some flared jeans and modern day platform boots!

Overall I think this Printed Kimono is well worth the £19.99 price tag and I feel it will get lots of wear in the coming months. Its a great look for a busy mum and also great for my work and lazy evenings out taking photographs which is my favourite hobby!
