Today I’m sharing an everyday look featuring my New Balance Classic 574 trainers.
Rediscovering an Old Favourite New Balance Classic 574 Trainers For Spring Outfits
At the start of every season, I like to take stock of my footwear collection. It’s become a bit of a seasonal ritual, checking for any gaps, seeing which pairs might need a little TLC, and reminding myself of pieces I haven’t worn in a while. It’s my way of shopping my own wardrobe before heading out to buy anything new and it works really well for me.
During my latest spring refresh and sort out, I stumbled upon my pair of New Balance Classic 574 trainers that I bought a few years ago. I’d only worn them a handful of times before they somehow slipped off my radar. They’re a lovely light pink shade, exactly what I’ve been looking for this season as pink is a trending color for spring, and I remembered how much I liked them, even if they needed a bit more breaking in.
Normally, I’d throw them on with jeans and a t-shirt for a casual look. But this time, I wanted to challenge myself to style them a little differently. So I paired them with my snake-print midi skirt and a classic black trench coat.
To tie everything together, I added my soft pink sweater in just the right shade which reminds me of the color of spring blossom. It was too warm to wear the sweater in the usual way, so I draped and tied it over my shoulders like a scarf, a styling trick I’ve seen a lot lately and really love for adding that extra something to an outfit.
It felt like a fresh, fun, Andrew way to wear my sweater and extend the wear into the spring season.
